I'm so happy we are up and running the pageant again. Specially since this year we're are really pushing our goals to help people get a more round-a-bout idea about their senshi, both in writing (Each round will have a different style from long status to in-person questionnaires to comic and short story form) and in drawing (free forms, their powers, casual ect.) and with no one being eliminated every artist can get in on the experience.
This will still be a competition however as each round people will be given a score; and at the finale is when the winners will be announced. So for example:
We have 3 competitors: Uni, Phi and Kay.
On round one they score: Uni-90, Phi-76, Kay-89
On round two: Uni-85, Phi-85, Kay-79
On round three: Uni-80, Phi-95, Kay-78
So First place would be Phi @256 points, Second would be Uni @ 255, and Kay at 246
Because I truly believe that anyone, given the chance can be an amazing artist and make an INCREDIBLE senshi once all their ideas are spread across the table. Working on the example art last season with War really got me thinking about the senshi team and even had me re-thinking her as a senshi. I'm excited that this year I get to try to dust off Universe again and try to get her information out. There were also some people that I was really sad to see them leave the competition and even some of them came unto OSI with what I thought was a lot stronger of a character (I was going to say names but now I'm deciding against it in case it offends someone...

)
Prizes are going to be a bit weird this year considering no one is being eliminated; so Ill have to see how that goes >_>
BUT if everyone can go out and spread the word that the pageant is in open season I'd love you forever, Or offer up some prizes.

In other news- we paid down the best buy credit card enough that we racked it back up with updating the living room desktop and even got myself my own all-in-one touch screen computer

The husband can now play Diablo 3 at high settings and I get my own computer to do whatever with ^__^ On the down side this also means that I have to re-install everything and will be going back to the obnoxious method of uploading artwork by memory card. Once I can get adobe Photoshop back on my computer (I need a serial number D: ) I'm going to see if I can do some digital artwork directly with the screen. My tablet pen does seem to work on the screen but in paint it was having major skipping issues. So Ill see if it gets better in Photoshop
